Come
Come is simply an invitation to worship, to sit at the feet of the King and hang out! We put it this early on the album to set the tone for what’ s to follow – that people would get in a place where they’re not distracted and can just sit and be with God. We are a self-obsessed people! When I take my focus from myself and fix my eyes on God (even for just a few moments at the start of my day) life looks different, the things that are important to me, the things I spend my money on, the things I spend my time doing are different. We’ve got to get an eternal perspective because most of the ‘stuff’ our world shouts at us to focus on and spend ourselves to get hold of, is going to amount to a big fat zero when we breathe in and out for the last time and face God. He is going to rise up, He will be glorious, and all that will matter is whether He knows you and what of eternal significance you spent your life on! Come on, spend some time now, sit at His feet, be still, listen for His voice, let Him lift your vision.
