Faithful
Faithful was inspired by some amazing friends (Geoff and Deb) and their response to tragedy. They endured the grief and tragedy of their dad’s battle with cancer at the same time as suffering a miscarriage of their soon to be born child. I remember being pretty well floored when praying with Geoff one day when they were right in the midst of this stuff. Despite the pain, grief and loss they were feeling, they were still thanking God for His faithfulness to them. On another track completely, the words to Faithful, go a long way to sum up the journey God has had me on over the last fifteen or more years. It sounds cliched but He has never let me go - never. And though I never experienced instant relief or healing in my struggle he has slowly but surely been working deep in my life. He’s not finished yet but my response has to be one of praise for His incredible goodness and faithfulness.
