Night Will Break
Night Will Break, though it sums up really well much of my story, is not so much about my own experiences. I wrote it instead as a result of journeying with different friends over the last couple of years who were in hard places, asking big questions about God and life. It’s an honour to share life with people who are searching and trying to figure God out and just survive in tough times. There’s often nothing to say that brings comfort and nothing to do but just be there. It sounds cliched but it is so true that there’s great hope knowing that the sun will rise again tomorrow and the next day and the next day and that at some point in the midst of our struggling and seeking, usually when we’re just past our breaking point, God, like the sun, will rise and fulfil His promises. He is good, He is faithful, night will break, so hold on.
